The Macquarie Foundation

The Macquarie Foundation is a deserving recipient of this Healthy Skin Award for offering its support in the promotion of best-practice skin health in the Australian community. Over a three year period the Macquarie Foundation has generously granted $100,000 to fund a national online education program for registrars and consultants in dermatology.

Collingwood Football Club

The Collingwood Football Club has received a Healthy Skin Award for offering all players and staff a comprehensive skin check by dermatologists, and by promoting skin care and skin health to all its members and supporters. Collingwood Football Club clearly recognises the importance of skin health for all those who spend time outdoors in a sporting environment.

Nicole McLean

As president of Psoriasis Australia, Nicole McLean has worked tirelessly to re-invigorate this peak body. Since becoming president last year, Nicole has spearheaded a number of positive initiatives including developing a Community Chest, and building a $100,000 fund for Psoriasis Australia projects, organising a volunteer to work on promoting Psoriasis Australia, and pulling together a new and enthusiastic board.

Vogue Australia

Vogue Australia receives this award for promoting skin health to its impressive readership of 449,000. Vogue beauty editorials regularly stress the importance of sun protection, with feature articles on skin health referencing the opinions of dermatologists. Vogue understands the importance of raising awareness, early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of serious skin conditions - and always strives to provide readers with the best advice for skin health and vitality.

King & Wood Mallesons

King & Woods Mallesons is a leading law firm in the Australasian region and a deserving recipient of this Healthy Skin Award. As part of its long-running Health & Wellbeing Program, King & Wood Mallesons introduced skin checks for all employees in 2007. King & Wood Mallesons understands how difficult it can be for people to find the time from work to visit a GP for skin checks but also how crucial it is given Australia's high incidence of skin cancer and melanoma. King & Wood Mallesons has provided over 2,300 employee skin checks - an initiative, which has saved people time, money and, potentially, several lives.
