Workplace Giving

Workplace giving is a simple and effective way for employees to donate to us directly from their pre-tax salary.

As a workplace donor you can make regular pre-tax donations directly from your pay and receive immediate tax benefits. You can choose a donation amount that’s right for you with no need to worry about collecting receipts, and start and stop at any time.  Importantly, you’ll be making a real difference to Australians affected by skin cancer, melanoma and skin disease.

Your employer might decide to issue the funds directly to us or through an external workplace giving provider: we are registered to receive workplace giving funds via Good2Give.

The Skin Health Institute is a not-for-profit registered charity and all donations go directly to supporting our research into treatment and cures and education programs. Your support has real impact and can help save lives.

For Employers

Supporting the Institute is a clear investment in the health and welfare of Australians suffering skin cancer, melanoma and skin disorders and offers a meaningful alignment with Australia's leading centre for skin health and education.

Step 1

If you would like to include the Skin Health Institute in your existing program, please complete our workplace giving sign-up form.

Step 2

Our dedicated Corporate Partnerships Manager will contact you to confirm details and discuss opportunities and ideas for further staff engagement. This could include corporate skin checks, invitations to our events, information sessions or content for your intranet and internal communications on skin health and the impact your contributions make to our organisation.

Step 3

Promote workplace giving to your employees. To help, you can include our workplace giving poster and flyer.

Step 4

Keep in touch. We’d love to support you and your employees to create awareness and prevention of skin cancer and melanoma. Visit our website to see how you can get involved in the Skin Health Institute through events, such as the Melanoma March, Skin Gallery art exhibitions, our Healthy Skin Awards, volunteering or to set up a campaign of your own.

We can help you maximise staff engagement and awareness of skin health by complementing your workplace giving program with a tailored engagement and communications plan.

For Employees

Workplace giving is one of the best ways you can donate to the Skin Health Institute.  It is easy to set up, allows you to give more for less and makes a real difference to the lives of individuals and families affected by skin cancer, melanoma and skin disease.

Step 1

Does your workplace have a giving program in place? If so they should have a standard form for you to fill in.

If your workplace uses the Good2Give workplace giving platform, you can simply request your login details to set up your donations online.

Step 2

If your employer does not have a workplace giving program, simply fill out the contact details in our workplace giving inquiry form and we’ll get in touch with your employer directly to make sure they have a giving program in place and help you get set up.

No donations will be deducted from your pay until your workplace has provided you with the relevant documentation.

Step 3

Nominate your monthly donation amount. Donating via workplace giving provides an immediate tax benefit by reducing your taxable income, and it’s all recorded on your pay slip. No receipts necessary. Simple!

Step 4

Want to double your giving? Ask if your employer will match your contribution. Many employers choose to support charities by dollar matching donations, increasing your combined impact on community.

The Institute also has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) and Charity Tax Concession status with the Australian Tax Office. All donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.
