The Institute delivers professional update training for dermatologists and dermatology registrars.
We support the Faculty’s professional development program with the delivery of Clinical Meetings, Update Meetings, dermatopathology and surgical tutorials, as well as Skin Schools for registrars.
These are supplemented by a range of online resources to support their continuing professional development & training.

Sixteen per cent of the initial presentation to GPs are about the patient's skin health.
The Institute provides highly-interactive training sessions for GPs and GP trainees with the aim of upskilling Australian doctors on dermatology conditions.
We also provide authoritative information resources for other registered healthcare practitioners to assist them in the diagnosis, treatment and management of common skin health conditions.

Spot Diagnosis is a podcast series that examines the skin complaints that are commonly encountered by general practitioners. It is tailored specifically for medical students, and GPs, but should also be useful for nurses and pharmacists.
